About Me and WRL Ballroom Dancing
My Ballroom Dancing Journey
My passion for ballroom dancing began when I saw Strictly Ballroom. I started learning how to dance from my ballroom instructor mom, Betty Tamas, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
In 2005, I started teaching private and group lessons. Over the years, my amateur and professional dance partners and I have performed in Baton Rouge and Dallas.
We were hired as entertainers at corporate events. We also performed for various organizations, including the Mesquite Symphony Orchestra, Angels of Dance Annual Gala benefiting the Susan G Komen Foundation, and the non-profit Women In Need.
As a rhythmic dancer, it is exhilarating for me to share my passion and express my “creative rhythm” for dancing. It brings me joy to help others discover the fun and happiness in dancing!
About WRL Ballroom Dancing Community
The creation of the WRL Ballroom Dancing Community is to promote the fun of dancing to singles and couples living in the greater White Rock Lake Area.
The group classes are designed for everyone to learn and experience the grace, elegance, and joy of dancing to their favorite music.
Learning the Waltz, Fox Trot, Tango, Rumba, Cha-Cha, Swing, Salsa, Night Club 2-Step, and other dance styles at your own pace will help you dance confidently at the next wedding or party!
Beginners, as well as experienced dancers, will benefit from this self-paced instruction. Private lessons are also available for “Wedding Couple’s First Dance, Father and Daughter Dance, and Mother And Son Dance.”
All levels of dancers are welcome. Bring your heart and passion, and I will care for the rest!
Additional Entertainment Services
Besides our group classes and private lessons, I offer a variety of other ballroom dancing entertainment services.
Event planners' favorites include Couples Retreats and Corporate Teambuilding Workshops, and Show Dance Performances for special events such as organizations and corporate annual dinner galas.
